WAS JIM NALEPA TORTURED BY THE 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION, OR DOES HE HAVE A VIVID IMAGINATION WITH A TENDENCY TO EXAGGERATE?

HERE IS WHAT NALEPA HAD TO SAY ABOUT THE SYSTEMATIC ABUSE OF PRISONERS AT ABU GHRAIB PRISON IN IRAQ:

Jim Nalepa: Detainees at Gitmo and in Abu Ghraib and quite frankly, I had
worse things done to me in the 82nd Airborne Division than had occurred in Abu Ghraib.

“How could someone make such a statement,” asks Andy Martin, “equating U. S. military training with the systematic abuse of prisoners at Abu Ghraib Prison in Baghdad? Mr. Nalepa has a seriously unbalanced view of both military life and the rules of engagement during conflict. Torture and abuse of detainees is not permitted; the entire world has condemned what took place in Baghdad. Except, of course, Jim Nalepa.”
